Silas Henriksen

Imagine if you had to give up you passion. Silas Henriksen is a world-famous ballet dancer. He has been dancing at some of the world’s leading stages for more than 15 years, but his time is running out. Dancers must retire from stage at an early age, and Silas is preparing for leaving his love, passion, and career. He will be on the TEDxArendal stage 3. November to express the challenges and pain one faces when a big transition is about to hit. Be prepared for a magical performance!
Speaker Bio:
Silas Henriksen has been working professionally as a dancer since 2007 with The Norwegian Opera and Ballet and The Netherlands Dance Theatre. He has been dancing at some of the worlds leading stages such as The Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatre in Russia, Lincoln Center in New York and The Sydney Opera House in Australia.
