The heart is an amazing organ; for many, it works almost perfectly throughout a long life. However, several heart diseases exist, and heart rhythm disorders are one of them.

More and more people suffer from the world’s most common heart rhythm disorder, called “atrial fibrillation (AF).” Many without even knowing it! If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications. Effective medications can prevent those complications, but AF needs to be diagnosed first. How can heart rhythm disorders be diagnosed in people unaware of having a problem?

In this talk, Dr. Sandberg explains how a new innovative wireless heart sensor developed in southern Norway enables easy and large-scale screening for heart rhythm disorders without having to attend your doctor’s office in person.
